Jowy shenanigans 20/6/15

Tomorrow's Fathers Day and I decided to do something a little different then my usual caricaturing I do very year . I drew all of my Dads main characters from his various stories he has been writing this year . I have also included some of my Humanisation.com characters (where it says error) in the drawing seeing as he and I are both working on the comic series together.

We aim to have the first issue printed very soon.

Until next post Laters :)

Jowy shenanigans/ update 17/6/15

Welcome to another addition to the Jowybean universe this is a concept speed painting for the ancient Sewing Valley.

I have been developing a rather interesting theory on how all my different worlds connect, Its because of the Sewing valley. The Sewing Valley is an ancient amazon inspired civilisation that essentially lives peacefully and monitors the massive threads that keep the planet together. The entire kingdom is made of every type of fabric you could think of. And because of this it is the place where clothes are produced.

below is the WIP and some alternative time of day i experimented with.

all together took 5 hours

until next Post laters.

Birmingham's Jewellery Quatar then and now illustration 13/6/15

sorry It was too big to scan, but i got a decent photo of it framed.

This is my newest Illustration that has been submitted for The RBSA (Royal Society of Birmingham Artists) upcoming friends exhibition.
It is of a place in Birmingham called the Jewellery Quarter a famous place where a lot jewellery is made.
This is my interpretation of the area that features its landmarks. businesses, and historical figures that founded the area.

The illustration was coloured with pro markers and uni pin pens. and took about 15 hours over a period of a few weeks.

I am quite proud of this illustration and hope to do more of this type of work in the future.

Until next post Laters :)
